Why Verbruggen palletizers are unique for starch and flour industry

Verbruggen Palletizing Solutions B.V. Specializing in the manufacture of palletizers that improves logistics and warehousing working efficiency.

The palletizing machine replaces the traditional manual handling. It saves labor and can quickly stack products, improve the efficiency of the operation in the factory, reduce the damage rate of the products, and facilitate transportation. Our products are suitable for any bag/box/crate product, including agricultural product such as fruits and vegetables, industrial products such as animal feed, flour, starch, cement, etc.

As labor costs rise, more and more companies tend to use automatic palletizing machines to replace traditional manual stacking.

This trend is especially reflected in the flour and starch industries. Since the trait of such products is powdery and the fluidity is very strong, there is often a certain amount of air in the package during the front end packaging process. Especially for the flour and starch industry, the PP/PE bag with smooth surface and low friction is more difficult to palletize. Bags that don’t stack well or slide down from a good stack of piles often appear.

Industrial products such as flour and starch products are generally considered to be difficult to stack, the Verbruggen palletizer has a unique advantage.

The Verbruggen Palletizing Machine (VPM) series offer an accurate, fast, and efficient palletizing solution. Each bag is automatically gathered, transported, and placed in the palletizer manipulator via conveyor belts. The center flaps in the manipulator ensures precise positioning of the bag on the stack. The bags of each layer are stacked on the formation doors in a mutually overlapping pattern. The overlap between the bags can be up to 30%, which greatly increases the overall stability of the stack. After stacking a full layer, the formation doors will open and place the bags on a pallet. The formation doors will then close and the pallet with bags will rise up and press to the underside of the formation doors. The air in the bag will be excluded during the upward extrusion process, making each layer of the goods flatter and firmer. The stack can be up to 2.5 meters. Verbruggen’s own intelligent software has improved the overall efficiency of the machine, enabling the machine to palletize at speeds of up to 70 bags per minute. The software enables the use of 20 possible stacking patterns, which makes it easy for customers to choose the best stacking patterns when palletizing different sizes of bags.

In addition to the palletizing features, the Verbruggen palletizer is equipped with a remote support system. If the customer has any question, the engineer can immediately enter the remote system for viewing, which greatly reduced the maintenance costs. The machine’s unique design maximizes efficiency with minimal components, ensuring long machine maintenance intervals and high operational reliability.

There are many advantages for industrial companies in use of palletizers.

Automatically stack starch and flour bags not only saves labor costs and improves work efficiency, but also decreases the damage rate of the products and reduces unnecessary expenditures. The overlapping bag presentation and integrated compression of the products make the stack a perfect overlay effect, which inevitably enhances the brand value of the customer. Stacked products offer great convenience in storage and transportation in a compact, uniform and stable form.
